New expo in Havana of the artist of Camagüey Martha Jiménez

Camagüey - The grateful ceramist of Camagüey Martha Jiménez, will expose from the next July 2 a sample of its low work the title " Yearn", in the Palace of Lombillo, in City of Havana.

The author of the Sculptural Group Carmen `s Square, in the capital of Camagüey, in this opportunity attaches to the consustancial pintoresquism "that auscultates in her woman and mother interior in search of that vehement desire of something, particularly immaterial, inagotable…but that she has been given in representing."

The art`s criticer Argel Calcines, affirmed that the work remits to the origins of the family, to the coexistence and its conflicts, to the changes of the daily life, but always with an optimism that has in the fine humor the touch stone, as a joke whispered to the spectator's hearing.

Martha Jiménez is also Reward UNESCO to the "better group of works", and in its artistic chore count more than 60 personal and collective exhibitions. It is honored also, of the distinctions "Fidelio Ponce de León", for the "National Culture" and for the "Pedagogic Merit". (Lázaro David Najarro Pujol)
